Paris 2_The old financial center
This the arrondissement where Palais Brongniart is located, the former French stock exchange, also called the “arrondissement de la Bourse”. The French stock market is no longer there, but the particular building of Corinthian style remains and is used as an exhibition center.
Above this, this arrondissement is not particularly interesting for the traveler compared to the neighboring central arrondissements which are full of sights and museums. However, it remains a picturesque part of the center of Paris with many interesting hidden galleries and the imposing national library.
What to do in Paris 2 ? 
La Bibliothèque Nationale de France – Site Richelieu , 58 rue Richelieu (Métro: Bourse or Palais-Royal). This is one of the four annexes of the French National Library. It stands out because of the impressive central library space, consisting of a large oval room with workstations for readers, reminiscent of the British University.
Gallery Vivienne, 4 rue des Petits-Champs (Métro: Bourse). It is a historic arcade of Paris. Indeed, it is on the long list of historical monuments in France. Inside the gallery you will find some of Paris’s finest and most expensive restaurants and shops. There, the Jean-Paul Gautier opened his first couture shop, which was up to 2015.
Passage Choiseul, 40 rue des Petits-Champs (Métro: Quatre-Septembre). It is another arcade in the 2 apartment considered to be a historic monument of France. It is about 190 meters long and you can find restaurants, shops and cafes.
Passage du Caire, place du Caire (Métro: Sentier). It is the longest arcade of Paris, with a length of 360 meters but has lost its old glory and is no longer of special interest to the traveler. Inside the gallery you will find mainly wholesalers of fabrics.
What to eat in Paris 2 ?
